Read The passage below and answer the following questions.
The world is producing millions of tons of domestics rubbish and tonic industrial waste each year and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find suitable locations to get rid of all the refuse. The disposal of various kinds of waste is increasingly polluting the environment. We know that air is an important element of our environment and our air is polluted by smoke . Man makes fires to cook food . Make bricks , melt tar for road construction and to do many other things , Fires create smoke and polluter the air. Railway engines and powerhouses create smoke by burring coal and oil. Mills and factories also belch a lot of smoke. Busses, trucks and cars use petrol and diesel oil. These too emit smoke . All these kinds of smoke pollute the air.

Tree plantation :
Tree plantation means afforestation o planting trees more and more. This is a programmed taken b the government balance of the environment. Trees give us oxygen without which we can't survive . But this important should plant more and more trees in order to maintain a harmony between man and nature and also to save our environment. June and July are the proper time for tree plantation. Tree plantation week is observed every year in the outskirts of towns. Tree can be planted on the banks of ponds, rivers, on both sides of highways and railways , on the banks of mas etc. The government and the public should work together to materialize tree plantation programmed. The National Memorial
The national memorial is a symbol of the nation's respect for the martyrs of the war of liberation. It is located at savar,Dhaka. Its foundation was laid on the first anniversary of the victory day in 1972 . The entire complex will core an area of 126 acres. It will include a mosque , a library and a museum. The museum will preserve the relics of the liberation war. There is a series of 7 towers that rise by stages to a height of 150 feet . These seven towers represent the 7 war heroes who made supreme sacrifice in the martyrs close to the tower . Standing before the graves we bow down our heads in respect of their sacrifice. The memorial upholds our honor and dignity as a nation. It also expresses the triumph of a nation over slavery and bondage .
Globalisation:
Globalisation is basically , a process of expanding trade and commerce all over the world by creating borderless market. However, it is creating more opportunities for capitalist countries rather then for the developing ones . In the name of help and co-operation. The industrially developed capitalist countries are exploiting the cheap labour available in poor countries. This is the common fear about the adverse effects of globalisation in the countries like ours . But , the fear is not quite justified because globalisation has also a far-reaching effect on many aspects of life. With the developing of hi-tech communication media homes through satellite television channels and the internet . Now , we can enrich our local culture through constant interaction of different cultures. but , along with this the cultural assault can also be resisted by the strength of our own traditional social values, beliefs and attitudes.
